These rods are built based on what we have personally used on our boat for over 10 years and have proven to be of excellent performance. They have a sensitive tip to detect subtle bites while providing the backbone needed to tame big Swords. Blackout Series / Team Unleashed Swordfish series 60-130# with Sword/harpoon logo / SiC guides, Alps #4 curved aluminum butt and Winthrop roller tip. Rod length is 64" without butt, 7' with butt. Two options available Heavy current 2 - 5 knots (fishing 8-15lb. of lead ) and Light current 0.5 - 2.5 knots (fishing 2-7lb. of lead) you also have the option to add a Winthrop T10-X adjustable butt.
